Dominic Muston
He/HimI am a Principal specialising in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), with more than 20 years of industry experience supporting healthcare decision-making and patient access across global markets. With deep technical expertise in economic modelling, evidence synthesis and statistics, I have a strong track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and advising senior stakeholders.
Before joining LCP, I held senior leadership roles in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently as Executive Director in Global Health Economics and Decision Sciences at Merck & Co., Inc., NJ, USA (known as MSD outside North America). In this role, I built and led a responsible for generating health economic evidence across a portfolio of oncology several products and indications in solid and haematologic tumours resulting in impactful publications and a series of international HTA approvals over the years. Previously I was global HEOR lead for ophthalmology at Bayer (NJ, USA), senior health economist at Bayer UK, and held roles in consulting.
I have authored many peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations across a range of therapeutic areas, and enjoy using the techniques of HE modelling and evidence synthesis to explore questions of critical relevance to stakeholders around health policy. I hold a MSc in Medical Statistics from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and a BSc in Applied Mathematics from the University of Warwick.
