Ben Smith

I lead LCP’s Digital Services department, the firm’s engine for technology advancement and operational efficiency. We combine deep technical expertise with a consulting mindset, helping teams work smarter through modern platforms, automation, and data-driven insights.

As CIO, I’m responsible for shaping and delivering LCP’s technology strategy and digital modernization agenda, spanning cloud infrastructure, platform and software engineering, automation, and service management. My focus is on keeping the firm secure, connected, and future-ready.

I’m a member of LCP’s Technology Oversight Group and the Information Security & Data Protection Committee, aligning technology initiatives with firmwide strategy and ensuring they’re implemented with appropriate safeguards. I also support client teams by presenting to clients on cybersecurity and technology risk.

I hold an MSc in Cybersecurity, am a Chartered IT Professional with the British Computer Society, and have multiple industry certifications across technology risk and security disciplines.
