Nigel Timperley

I have worked in the energy industry since the last century, gaining extensive experience within energy suppliers, distribution system operators, metering companies, and in energy engineering.

My career has also included roles in financial services, the UK civil service, and IT consultancy. Over the past decade, my focus has shifted towards consultancy and research projects. I also set up and ran a community energy start-up and remain interested in how innovation can transform the customer experience of energy supply. This has led to significant involvement in trials, demonstrations, and market development initiatives.

Currently, at LCP Delta, I collaborate with multiple clients, concentrating on commercial opportunities within the downstream energy transition. My role involves leading research and advising energy companies on how to capitalize on the inevitable move to green energy, with a particular focus on the customer experience.
