Stephen Harkin
I’m Head of Client Engagement Strategy at LCP Delta. I’m passionate about accelerating the energy transition and helping our clients adapt and develop their strategies to succeed in this rapidly changing market.
Leveraging almost 20 years’ experience in the downstream energy sector and the wider market-leading expertise in LCP Delta, I work closely with our clients across the energy value chain to help them navigate market changes, identify opportunities, and position themselves for success. A key part of my role is ensuring that LCP Delta’s expertise, insights and services align with the needs of our clients, enabling them to make informed tactical, strategic and investment decisions.
My core focus is on client interaction, driving our approach to client engagement, managing client relationships and overseeing our sales & marketing strategy. Previously, I’ve led the Consulting Business at LCP Delta, directed and managed projects for clients, delivered research and developed new products for the business. I support various stakeholders, including industry leaders, investors, network operators, service providers, manufacturers and policymakers.
I joined LCP Delta in 2008 with a strong research and analysis background. I hold an MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Edinburgh.
