LCP achieves Gold Standard for LGBT+ Equality in Financial Services
Pensions & benefits Diversity / DEI LCP newsLCP has been awarded a Gold Standard for LGBT+ equality within financial services by LGBT Great, a global organisation dedicated to developing LGBT+ diversity, equity and inclusion within the investment and savings industry. This achievement marks the second consecutive year that LCP has received a Gold Standard with the organisation. It is the third time LCP has been recognised by LGBT Great, as five individuals from LCP were featured in the LGBT Great Top 100 Gamechangers list in 2022.
LGBT Great’s Inclusion Index Benchmarking Tracker (iiBT) assesses companies in the financial services sector against ten key areas, including culture, belonging, and training and development, as well as others. This enables companies to identify current key strengths and opportunities to further improve LGBT+ diversity, equity and inclusion.
Commenting on this achievement, Katie Walker, Consultant and Co-Chair of LCP’s LGBT+ Network, said: “We are so thrilled to be recognised for the second year in a row for our efforts to create a welcoming workplace where LGBT+ individuals can thrive. We know there is still more work to be done to make our industry even more inclusive and equitable, so we are committed to making even more progress with the support of our allies across LCP.”
