LCP’s Zoe Burdo and Stephen Budge have been appointed to Pensions UK’s Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution Committees.
The Committees are two of four that focus on specific policy issues across the pensions landscape, providing deep subject matter expertise and ensuring the voices of workplace schemes, providers and advisers are represented in Pensions UK’s policy development. Each Committee plays a vital advisory role and meets three times a year.
Zoe Alexander, Executive Director of Policy and Advocacy at Pensions UK, said: “Our Committees bring together a range of expert practitioners from across our diverse membership. They play a crucial role in ensuring we have a broad perspective when shaping our policy positions on behalf of savers. I am pleased to welcome the new members, whose deep expertise and fresh perspectives will help drive forward our work at a pivotal time for pensions policy and regulation in the UK.”
Jill Ampleford, Head of Trustee Consulting, LCP, commented: “I’m delighted to see Zoe and Stephen appointed to Pensions UK’s DB and DC Committees. These committees play an important role in shaping policy across the pensions landscape, and I’m confident that Zoe and Stephen will bring valuable insight and a collaborative spirit to help drive progress for schemes and members alike.”
