She/HerI am a member of LCP’s Health Analytics team. I am a medical doctor and population health sciences expert with a strong background in public health, occupational health, and clinical medicine. I recently completed an MPhil in Population Health Sciences at the University of Cambridge and hold a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Central University of Venezuela.
Over the past six months, I have been studying the trends of cancer drug prescriptions in the UK. This analysis has provided unique insights into how doctors are managing and treating cancer patients.
My previous clinical roles have included medical doctor and occupational health assistant in Peru, where I contributed to the care, monitoring and contact tracing of Covid-19 patients in corporate environments during the pandemic. I have also served as a primary healthcare medical doctor at the Peruvian Ministry of Health, and as a primary healthcare medical doctor in Caracas, Venezuela, where I administered emergency triage and treatment for incoming patients. My clinical expertise spans diverse acute and chronic conditions, palliative care and emergency triage. I also have a strong foundation in academic research and teaching, having taught courses on preventive and occupational health, as well as serving as a guest speaker on public health and epidemiology at the Central University of Venezuela.
