Jinita Shah

I am a Partner in LCP’s Insurance Consulting department. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and I hold Lloyd’s signing actuary and Chief Actuary practising certificates.

My recent projects include reserving for Lloyd's managing agents, personal lines' insurers and medical defence organisations, validation of internal models and technical provisions, calculation of technical provisions and documentation reviews.

My clients value my expertise, attention to detail and the ability to translate complex into the simple.

I am also the Head of People of the Insurance Consulting team. I aim for our team of approx. 50 to work in a collaborative, inclusive and energised environment and deliver excellent results for our clients.

In addition, I launched an initiative in 2022 with a mission to support a diverse range of people in reaching senior leadership positions in the general insurance market. We host regular events with an aim to inspire young insurance professionals in their career journeys and for more experienced individuals to educate themselves on how they can be an ally.
