Matthew Court
I joined LCP in 2003 as a Trainee Pensions Administrator and through a combination of LCP’s development programme and professional studies I have become a senior member of the Pensions Administration department and a Team Leader for one of the Administration Teams based in our London office.
As part of my Team Leader role I look after staffing, recruitment and allocation of resource across the Team’s client base.
My strong organisational skills and attention to detail, together with ensuring that robust processes and procedures are in place, help to deliver an efficient and high quality pensions administration service to a portfolio of clients.
I have worked on a wide range of clients with varying and often complex pension scheme structures and my experience is wide ranging. I am the Client Lead on a number of Occupational Defined Benefit schemes which involves attendance at Trustee meetings and liaising directly with members, Trustees, Employer representatives and other third parties on a daily basis.
As a member of LCP’s Pensions Tax and Pension Scams Helpgroups, I help clients with complex and precedent cases involving technical/legislative and tax related queries, as well as helping to protect members against the ever-present risk of pension scams.
I am the appointed Trustee Secretary for one of my clients and enjoy helping my schemes through the ever-changing world of pensions legislation and the impact these changes have on their scheme.
I also provide support to the Pensions Management Institute, helping to produce the study materials that support individuals across the industry working towards professional qualifications.
