As a specialist in LCP’s pension risk transfer practice I advise both trustees and sponsors of pension schemes on buy-in and buy-out transactions. I have significant transaction experience having successfully managed over 20 projects to completion, and have a breadth of experience from advising both small and large transactions (from £5m to £1bn+).
I also co-lead LCP’s DB Consolidators team, researching the developing DB Consolidator market to understand where opportunities may exist for our clients.
I qualified as an actuary in 2011 and, whilst I spend the majority of my time managing de-risking transactions, I am also involved in providing several of our trustee clients with Scheme Actuary support.
LCP provided a master class of project management. We had full confidence that we were in safe hands to complete the pensioner buy-in successfully in an efficient manner.
Our latest thinking
We provide individual and high quality actuarial advice, taking a collaborative approach between trustees, employer and advisers, to ensure a focus on good member outcomes.
We are market leaders at each stage of de-risking, including journey planning, investment strategy, transactional services and wind up.
Whether to enter a DB Consolidator is a complex decision. Sponsors and Trustees must be sure it is the right decision for their scheme and its members. We can help.
We help both trustees and sponsors prepare for and deal with corporate change.
We can help trustees and corporates review the operation processes of pension schemes and ensure they remain fit for purpose. We also advise on the potential impact of IORPII for UK pension schemes, including the governance, risk management and other implications.
We help pension scheme trustees and sponsors to determine the ultimate destination for their scheme and help them put together a plan to get there, including how to effectively manage the risks they face along the way.
