Reporting against our commitments made as a member of the Net Zero Investment Consultants Initiative (NZICI)

We have been building our expertise in climate change for over a decade and it is now an integral part of our investment consultancy services.

Climate change has the potential to permanently destroy value for investors; it poses major threats (as well as opportunities) to the environment, society, economy and to the financial system as a whole. We firmly believe that achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement on climate change is in the best interests of our clients and their beneficiaries. We are committed to working with others throughout the investment system – including our clients and their investment managers – towards this goal.

We encourage our clients to use the full weight of their position as asset owners – through how they allocate capital, how they engage, how they contribute to policy, how they signal to others their support for addressing climate change – to make a net zero economy by 2050 more achievable.

LCP signed up to the Net Zero Investment Consultants Initiative (NZICI) in 2021.  This report highlights the progress we made over the year to 31 December 2025 in providing advice on climate change and net zero ambitions across our client base.
