Katie Peto

I am a Scheme Actuary with 15 years of experience in the pensions industry. I work with both small and large schemes, and with a range of board structures and governance approaches. I enjoy building relationships with my clients and providing clear, pragmatic advice to help them find solutions to complex pensions issues. Recently I have been supporting my clients with their endgame strategies, including risk transfer via buy-ins and superfunds, wind-ups and surplus management.

Aside from my client responsibilities, I am part of LCP's Contingent Funding Options team, researching the developing market in this area to understand where opportunities may exist for our clients. I am responsible for LCP's Streamlined Escrow service, giving clients a quick and cost-efficient way to set up an escrow account for their pension schemes.

I also lead the actuarial team in our Winchester office, made up of around 80 qualified and trainee actuaries. I am responsible for our people's day-to-day wellbeing, as well as reward, recruitment and resourcing. One of the things I like most about my job is the people I get to work with, and I really enjoy mentoring and helping to develop the next generation of actuaries.

Away from work, I enjoy being outdoors with my husband, two young children and dog.
