Matthew Bleakley
Senior Consultant
He/Him
My name is Matt and I’m a Senior Consultant in our Pensions Actuarial Department. I joined LCP in 2017 after graduating with a first class degree in Actuarial Mathematics from the University of Leeds. Having qualified as an Actuary in 2020, I work with a range of Corporate and Trustee clients advising them on all aspects of pension arrangements.
As a member of LCP’s specialist longevity de-risking team I am also heavily involved in project work, being part of the team that advises the Trustee of the Marks and Spencer Pension Scheme on their longevity hedging strategy, including six buy-ins completed to date. I also enjoy getting involved in other project work such as M&A transactions.
My other commitments at LCP include being a member of our growing Charity consulting team, along with being a New Business Champion and a Sector Champion for the Retail sector.
LCP provides clear and understandable information when asked which makes my decision making easier.
