He/HimI am a partner within LCP’s pensions actuarial department having joined as a graduate 25 years ago. I help trustees of DB pension schemes of a wide range of sizes with many aspects of pension provision, including joined-up funding and investment strategies, advising on benefit changes and navigating closure to accrual.
As a member of LCP’s specialist post-transaction team, I am experienced in managing buy-out and wind up processes, guiding trustees (including of schemes where there is a surplus or where the sponsor has become insolvent) through the decisions needed. I also chair LCP’s training sessions for new trustees and take a keen interest on advising schemes on tailored mortality assumptions, having established LCP's mortality group.
Outside work, I sing in my local choir and enjoy travelling, hiking and skiing with my family.
