Jess Horner
Senior Consultant
She/Her
I am a Senior consultant in LCP’s Pension Actuarial practice, having joined the graduate scheme in 2015 after graduating from Warwick University.
I work with a wide range of Trustee clients, advising them on all aspects of their pension arrangements, including funding valuations, de-risking strategy, buy-ins and buy-outs. I also sit on the de-risking professional committee within LCP and am part of the PPF+ advisory panel.
On top of my actuarial work, I am involved in a number of different areas at LCP and within the industry. These include acting as a deputy team leader, co-chair to our LGBT+ Network and on the organising committee of the wider pensions industry LGBT+ network, O:Pen.
Outside of work I am an avid follower of rugby union, having played until recently.
LCP provide a pragmatic application of innovation and changes in the regulatory framework.
Our latest thinking
We provide individual and high quality actuarial advice, taking a collaborative approach between trustees, employer and advisers, to ensure a focus on good member outcomes.
We are market leaders at each stage of de-risking, including planning, investment strategy, transactional services and wind up.
We help pension scheme trustees and sponsors to determine the ultimate destination for their scheme and help them put together a plan to get there, including how to effectively manage the risks they face along the way.
