George Bassnett

I joined LCP's Covenant team at the start of 2023, having completed my ACA training at a 'Big Four' accountancy firm, working in insurance audit.

I now work across a diverse portfolio of trustee and corporate clients, across numerous different sectors, helping them integrate covenant into their strategy, and manage risk overall. My style is straightforward, and I aim to deliver advice that is accessible and focuses on what truly matters to our clients. I particularly enjoy collaborating with different trustee boards, management teams, and other advisors.

Outside of covenant, I love to play golf and watch football - so have really embraced LCP's 'curious' nature, and was really proud to work alongside our Sports Analytics team to develop our first of its kind Football Financial Sustainability Matrix.

As a firm, LCP is leading thinking on how we can best leverage AI and other tech capabilities to improve our advice, and I act as the Covenant team's AI rep.
