Guiv Morin
He/HimAs the Head of Consulting France at LCP Delta, I lead strategic advisory for the French energy transition and support Western Europe business development. I help utilities, IPPs, institutional investors, and large C&I firms achieve their energy transition growth and investment risk-return goals via three channels:
- Economic viability of flexible assets: Designing the commercial logic and revenue-stacking frameworks for distributed energy resources to optimise market-to-asset performance.
- Investment and strategic transaction support: Advising Private Equity and Infrastructure funds on market entry, commercial due diligence, and M&A advisory within the European flexibility and renewables space.
- Market design and policy advisory: Supporting institutional stakeholders in navigating regulatory shifts and defining the economic standards for new flexibility and ancillary service markets.
With over 14 years of dual expertise, I bridge seven years of buy-side sustainable investment roles in London with seven years of economic and strategic consulting in the European energy flexibility markets.
Before joining LCP Delta, I held front-office roles at AXA Investment Managers, the Climate Bonds Initiative, and HSBC Global Asset Management. I have overseen regional equity investment fund clusters of up to $7bn (Eurozone) and $2bn (LatAm) and co-created HSBC’s Global Lower-Carbon equity and bond funds. My consulting track record includes advising major utilities like EDF, Enedis, GRDF, Natran, and RTE on market design, distributed flexible asset growth, and the harmonisation of flexibility economic valuation guidelines.
I hold an MPhil in Economics and Financial Engineering of Energy from Paris-Dauphine PSL (Master 129 EFC), and both a Master’s in Management (Grande Ecole) and a Master’s in International Financial Analysis from Skema Business School.
